Here is Johnny, I met him like 6 years ago, he won an Xbox in a contest in the high school certifying on .NET. From there to be a technology lead in the company that he is working, was pretty fast. That was used by a security agency that developed a tone that only teenagers could hear, to keep them out of a shopping mall, where they used to hang out pushing customers out of those stores.
Now the tide had change, somebody created a ring tone, based on that frequency, that only younger people can hear, so when there is no permission to use cellphones (ie in class), they use that ringtone.
Looks like there are some benefits of being a student. Do you want to try if you can hear it? Check how you is your hearing... Here is the link
Funny story, I was getting information about this in a friend's house, he has two little kids, (2 and 5), when I played the ringtone the little one start laughing screaming "Loud! Loud!", and his brother said "turn it off, I'm watching TV and cannot hear".
Because we would like to give you an idea of the Event, and share our experiences with you all, we have been taping some of our activities.

One of them was interviewing Caroline Philips, Microsoft Academic Lead for Western Europe!! A very enthusiastic lady from the UK.
The video is a little bid dark <taken inside>, but we think you don’t want to miss her talking about some Academic programs and what Microsoft has to offer students.

Hear Caroline talking about her own student time, about new cool technologies and how it is to work as an female in this so called men's world :).

See the extra material at the end of the video :)

<evnet:views>2256</evnet:views><evnet:viewtrackingurl>http://channel8.msdn.com/378/WebViewBug.aspx?EVT=0</evnet:viewtrackingurl><evnet:previewtext>Last week we, as the Dutch MSP team have been visiting TechEd 2007 in Barcelona.

Today we launched the next generation of Windows Live. This release is the first time we have brought an integrated suite of Windows Live products and services at the same time, making it easy for users to connect and share anywhere.

To underscore the new photo sharing capabilities, the launch was highlighted by a special “Share a Smile” event held in New York and Los Angeles. This event featured a seven story sphere of smile photos shared by people around the world, including Microsoft employees. As part of this event, Microsoft will make a donation to Operation Smile to help children around the world overcome facial deformities. The more smiles shared and viewed using Windows Live, the larger our donation.

You can get everything at www.windowslive.com and start using Windows Live to share photos, communicate with your friends and family, as well as help protect your PCs and your family while on-line. As you start to use the product.

Here are just a few of the great new capabilities in this release of Windows Live:

· Now you can post your photos to Flickr in addition to Windows Live Spaces directly from inside Windows Live Photo Gallery

· Going on vacation and want to let your friends and family know? Set up a vacation auto-reply in Windows Live Hotmail

· Use the unified contacts for all your communications in Windows Live, including pictures and gleam notifications in Windows Live Messenger to keep up with updates from your contacts on Windows Live Spaces

· Automatically rotate and group your photos by time when you import them using Windows Live Photo Gallery

· Windows Live Writer lets you work off-line and easily add maps, videos, pictures, and more to your blog

· Keep all your e-mail in one place using Windows Live Mail

· Use Windows Live OneCare Family Safety to keep track of your what children are doing on-line

· Set up your events, manage invitations, and collect photos from everyone using Windows Live Events

And that’s just the start. Find out more details about everything listed above and some of the other amazing things you can do by visiting the Windows Live Wire Space and then go install the product by visiting www.windowslive.com. You’ll also want to make sure you and your friends and family are one of the first to get a new, additional “@live.*” Windows Live ID too.
