SimplySim: A student-based robotics simulation engineering team

SimplySim is a company based in France co-founded by Bertrand Copigneaux and Nicolas Dalmasso that provides an excellent platform for 3-D robotics simulations.

That's great, you say, right? Why do you care? Because Bertrand and Nicolas started this company while they were students just like you. Check out Bertrand's explanation of how one thing led to another from technology, to business plan, to being sponsored by Microsoft, and now even having Microsoft as a client.

One of the unique features of their simulation software is the ability to export everything into Microsoft's Robotics Studio.

My favorite part is towards the end when I asked the guys what advice they have for students about starting their own company; simple yet powerful.
