geekSpeak and why it's cooler than a podcast

I got a chance to talk to the two people behind Ch9's geekSpeak.

Why? I belive this is superior way of learning a new technology, and/or getting your questions answered.

Instead of listening to a podcast, or watching a webcast, even live webcast - you can submit questions to a pre-arranged speaker and once the LiveMeeting starts - your questions is in the qeue. No waiting. No power point. Get down to the code!

Also, if you are a center of knowledge in anything, geekSpeak would love to have you contact them and set up a soeaker slot just for you. How cool is that!? Don't have to be a MS employee, or an MVP. Just know your stuff and help out fellow geeks.

yup - it's me!  Glad you enjoyed my talk about Women in Technology at last year's TechEd Developers in Barcelona.  I am working with a group in Irvine, CA to host the first (for Southern California) DigiGirlz day on March 24, 2008.  We will video the event and post highlights on Channel 8 afterwards - watch for it!
