Honestly? I'm not a Zune Pass subscriber.... but with this release and specifically the Zune Card drag'n'drop feature....... it just made my list of things to jump into.

Got the update last night.

Getting the zune pass as soon as I get my car wired up to work with zune. [Sorry, won't drive a Ford car]

And just got a fresh Zune 8 in the mail from Ch8 today for some webcasts! thnx!!!
Man this thing rocks!! Just made my slick Blackjack II phone look bulky and uncool.
Can we like mash the two?! :)

Does somebody also know when this stuff, like Zune Pass, will be available outside the US? So sad that everything that's coming with the Zune is just available inside the US.

Hey Josh,

1) Thanks for the shout out, I like a lot of different bands so I'm glad you're into it. Now you can drag over my Zune Card to stay up to date and I'll probably do the same with yours :)

2) I think that the videos are unfortunately not part of the Zune Pass... but that is an interesting opportunity for sure

Trix, I don't believe the update is public yet as I'm also receiving "Your Zune software is already up to date" when I attempt to update. On a more general note, WOW!! I already love my Zune 8 and assuming my Zune Pass is good for videos as well as music I'll be looking into a Zune 30 or maybe even an 80! I also welcome the enhancments to the social aspects of the Zune as I'll get to listen to great music I may not have discovered yet and I also happen to really like Max's taste in music so I look forward to his playlists in particular. Congratulations Zune team, congrats!

This will silence many of the criticisms of 2.0... especially with the playlists.

Many still won't like it just because they can't and won't until it becomes iTunes part deuce, so I'm hoping the Zune team doesn't screw up this great software UI to pander to them, no matter how vocal they may be.

I'm still waiting for a Zune software plugin SDK, which would be nice. An option to set any picture as a background by default in the settings would also be appreciated.

This update is well appreciated! I love my Zune!!! The magic of software really is prevelent in this product. The only problem now is my Zune has a stuck pixil on bright green and they wont replace my earbuds ;)

Is this out yet? My Zune software said "Your software is already up to date".
