Microsoft has released Visual Studio 2008 today!

At the same time as the full version has been released Microsoft made also the Express Editions available. You can choose between Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual C++ or Visual Web Developer Express. They are completely free and the applications developed with them can be shared without paying any fees!

Channel 9 is having a video that is featuring Soma Somasegar (the vice president of the Developer Division). In the video he's talking about the new features that come with .NET 3.5 and the new version of Visual Studio.

It is time to start with some LINQ. Smiley
