You saw Stefan and Bill hang out in the “SideWinder” room to showcase the new SideWinder X6 Keyboard in Part I of this demo… now prepare yourself: it’s time to show the SideWinder MICE!!

Bill brought the X5 and the original SideWinder to show Stefan what real hard-core gamers are all about.

For all you repeat visitor 8ers that often leave comments, this story has a VERY nice sugar coating to it that definitely is due to your comments and excitement around this sort of cool hardware. So make sure to watch the last announcement Stefan and Bill make, and I promise you will smile Smiley. Leave a comment to let me know how we should decide to send out the goodies…

Max,

Do we have any idea as to how we're giving keyboards out?

Well.. its a gaming keyboard, so let's game for it!

I vote for Counter Strike 1.6 (because my PC actually runs that allright) or maybe Halo 3 @ x360 Big Smile
Ah well.. Max'es idea is cooler .. i vote for that if your promise to fly past Denmark
So, the weights are really just masses if they are weighed in grams... that is .098N of pure muscle...

I love my Sidewinder Joystick, which is no longer manufactured Sad Great to see the brand back in full force though.

As for skydiving, that sounds sweet. One of you two should go skydiving in one of those suites, somehow relate it to technology and Microsoft, and post a video of you skydiving with one of those cool helment cams.

I say for a contest, we PC game, and the top 5 people get the keyboard Wink.

Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, Call of Duty...

Then when everyone gets their gaming keyboard, maybe their scores will improve...before and after?

C8 is giving students, who otherwise wouldn't spend money on fancy things, fancy things.
Very cool although would still like an idea of how the keyboards gamer mode works with macros if it will flip on and grab different macros to which game is loading up or if it is something that can be programmed  for different modes that can be user switched no matter the program loaded.

As for the giveaway that is a tuffy good luck with that although somehow I think the FAA might have a thing or two to say about the whole dropping keyboards while skydiving LOL.  But hey if it get Microsoft to foot the bill for skydiving go for it just remember to attach little parachutes to the keyboards and drop over ND.

Geek by birth, Microsoftie by choice!
I love the idea of gaming for the keyboard that you guys have set forth. I've wanted a Games for Windows Live/Xbox Live meetup for some time now. Smiley

I like the skydiving idea (I'm imaging he would come with his own sound effects?) and since I don't have an X-Box (I ask the boss every chance I can) I'm gonna vote for the skydiving!
My suggestion: get a million monkeys and set them down in front of some old surplus IBM Selectras. The first one to reproduce Romeo and Juliet gets the keyboard - hey, he deserves it!
