Not long ago, one of your favorite .NET proponents and avid bloggers became a Corporate Vice President here at Microsoft.  That's right, it's Scott Guthrie--or as you may know him, ScottGu.  And one of your fellow 8ers, Kevin Babcock from Texas A&M, thought it would be great to have a chat with Scott personally... and that's exactly what he got to do!

While this may be longer than most of the interviews I have shared with you, I found it interesting to hear what Scott had to say about topics ranging from how he approaches difficult problems, advice for students, his management style, and where he sees things going in the future.

My favorite part is when he explained what "seagull management" is... check it out.

Always nice to hear Scott Guthrie speak. He seems so calm and grounded it is relaxing to listen to. Smiley This is the kind of interview that people should watch a couple times. Great points on what is really important, learning, and disseminating technology into reference points as to where you can use it some day. Thank you.
