PhD students’ projects at Microsoft Research Cambridge: unstructured data with Coherent patterns

In the Cambridge PhD summer School we found two interesting projects. The first one from Ana Costa e Silva (University of Edinburgh http://www.ed.ac.uk/) is realted to manage unstructured data with coherent patterns thru two levels of graphical coherence. The other one with Umar Mohammed (University College London) wants to take video games to the next level, generating global images synthesized using joint methods.
Will be nice to play a game with a real Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft...
