In the last installment of this Series, we took a brief look at Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) and spun up a basic Domain. This week, we will dive deeper into Active Directory by looking at a very key component-Group Policy. Group Policy is designed to allow you, as a Network Administrator, to centrally author and deploy GPO's (Group Policy Objects) to control what Users can and cannot do on their local Desktop. Next week we will discuss the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Name System) Server Roles. Enjoy!
