You like to take pictures? How about videos? Maybe you’re an avid writer… or even a blogging machine!? Getting all this stuff online today is very doable… and very time consuming.

I knew there were better ways to go about sharing videos, pictures, and my fancy loquacious prose with the world… and Stefan Weitz, Mega-Microsoftie, was the man to show us how to do it. So in this VERY DEMO HEAVY (yay!) sit-down, you will see Stefan show you how to go from digital video camera to online in a blog post with pictures, text, etc. in one of the most simplified methods I have yet to see. How does he do it?? A rich integration between online and local consumer applications that are all actually either part of Windows XP/Vista or freely available at http://get.live.com.

If you ever have wondered what we mean by “Software AND Services,” then this is a great example from the consumer standpoint. So check out an impressive solution to what used to be a complicated process now simplified by: Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Writer, Windows Live Spaces, Windows Movie Maker, and even MSN Videos.

I'm shocked there are no comments about this... are you guys speechless or what??

Spring Break maybe? I'm in chicago walking around the city 12 hours a day. I did come back from the Planetarium, where I asked about World Wide Telescope, and they took me aside and asked how I knew about it, making sure I'm not a google spy or something, and really showed it off to me. There are some neat things in it that I've never seen before, that stuff is amazing, and the scientists there were so enthusiastic about it. Good job MS!

I for one didn't really learn much from this, I mess around with this stuff all the time. I absolutely love Windows Live Photo Gallery, it is just annoying that I have that with Windows Photo Gallery, I wish I could merge their features together...once again Windows Live Photo Gallery + Flickr = Awesome (I really don't know why anyone would use spaces over Flickr...the community at Flickr is just so rich and full).

Windows Movie Maker is also very nice, but I would like to see a refresh of that very soon, not sure if it is completely stable. But even so, it is easy to impress teachers with videos made from it.

MSN videos, Soapbox, never takes my videos, it always says they have a copyrighted soundtrack, so I use google video or Youtube, they never complain about it Wink.

Live Writer is awesome, not much to say about it Wink The plugins are really cool.

that Japanese spa seems like a fun experience!

Stefan liked it.... a lot....

Isn't he awesome? I'm going to get him more often.... he always has cool info.

this guy is so cool, more of him please Smiley

I actually really like what he said he wants to with Live.

Let's hope it will make it Smiley

I belive in this guy. [for now]
