Kicking off Bill's campus tour, he gave his first speech at Stanford University to a packed auditorium. There were some interesting questions asked during the live QnA at the end directly by students, one of which was David, a Computer Science major.

Check out David's reaction to Bill's overall presentation style, topics, and how David feels about DreamSpark--free Microsoft development and design tools for students.

An audience member didn't know about free software from MS Sad I wonder how many others walked away not knowing. DreamSpark must take off.

Thanks for the reaction video though.

Max,please tell Leandro to check his mail ,he said he wanted to talk to me about something and i'm itching to know what.I've emailed him but have got nothing.

I am awfully disappointed that they have not yet added Australia Sad

I just hope we are added real soon!

Hi PaulDog3,

You can get the same software FREE from your

MSDNAA ( MicroSoft Developer Network Academic Alliance ) account that applies to your university or college.

Ask someone in the help-desk / technical support area of the university / college that you attend about setting up an MSDNAA account for you.

Alternatively if you can email Microsoft in your country from your student email account, that action confirms you as a student, you should get a reply email with a unique url-link to click on.

I will ask my Microsoft contacts in this country about helping you out in this regard.

Regards,

John Oliver

(UK) Microsoft Student Partner.
