In an on-going effort to ensure that Channel 9 videos only display appropriate content, the Channel 9 Dev Team recently ported the spam feature to filter existing video content.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the results of our first tests using some of the more popular C9 video clips. The video filter should be complete by the time we ship Channel 9 V4.

Congratulations to the dev team and to JKL consulting for creating the original video filter prototype.

I got to see theCodeTrip.com tour bus less then an hour from it's departure and got an exclusive tour with Tim Heuer for Ch8 of the insides. Very cool!

This rockstar style tour bus will be hitting Western US and the coast. If you are an student at any of the campus that the bus hit - come represent Ch8! They are in the University of Montana today

I got a chance to talk to the two people behind Ch9's geekSpeak.

Why? I belive this is superior way of learning a new technology, and/or getting your questions answered.

Instead of listening to a podcast, or watching a webcast, even live webcast - you can submit questions to a pre-arranged speaker and once the LiveMeeting starts - your questions is in the qeue. No waiting. No power point. Get down to the code!

Also, if you are a center of knowledge in anything, geekSpeak would love to have you contact them and set up a soeaker slot just for you. How cool is that!? Don't have to be a MS employee, or an MVP. Just know your stuff and help out fellow geeks.
