Hi mandah0520,

Spinning up a web server on top of Windows Server 2008 is really quite simple. However, the sheer number of web technologies (HTML, PHP, ASP, etc) available today complicates this issue somewhat. Can you provide a bit more information? For instance, what type of content do you want to serve to your site visitors? Thanks!

Running Joomla on IIS7 requires PHP and therefore requires quite a bit of high level knowledge (I've deployed Wordpress on IIS7 in the past). I could explain it, but this series of Screencasts seems to do a decent job. Best of luck!

I apologize. When I linked to the Screencasts on installing Joomla under Windows Server 2008 I wasn't prompted for any sort of login and, therefore, assumed it was free of chage. You may consider having a look at this series by Keith Combs. It illustrates how to install Wordpress under Server Core, but the underlying principles are identical. Thanks!
