As some may have noticed, the new channel 9 is up and running. Unfortunately it seems to be a bit dodgy and I was wondering if anybody could repro the following:

Really really slow
Unable to enter an underscore into the signin box - and thus I (Lloyd_Humph) can't sign in
When stuff does eventually load, the AJAXified stuff stops loading and nothing shows up, just a page with the basics and "Done" happily displayed in the bottom of IE7. There's even more limited functionality in FF3b5, but I can appreciate they can't make it work everywhere.

Guys?

It's sooooo slow I as good as can't access it. I'm dying from the withdrawal symptoms

EDIT: And shouldn't you be using FF3 RC1?

It's really slow with all browsers... known issue; seems like the team works on it.

Hey Lloyd, now you know what I've been working on *all* day

We are working on the perf issues, of course, and the ajax error was actually a symptom of that problem... the underscore issue is just a standard old bug though. I'll look and see how we are restricting the entry into that field and try to remove that restriction for you!

I should, but I didn't even know it existed since I've not been online much

FF3 hasn't screamed at me that there's a new version available either, but now I know I'll see if I can get the update soon.

I find it kinda ironic that whenever I try and visit the feedback forum I get the error page

The site does seem fast now though
