Internships during the summer break

Who is going to do an internship during this summer break? I'm going to do one in an interesting company... and you guys? Anybody going to do internships or work for a company? Or are you going to bring your pet projects to the next level (I have also quite a few of them running)?

Nope. I plan on finally setting up my business properly though

Nice one Christian!  I'd consider something like that but I'm a virtual technology blackspot and will likely have to move to get work so an internship would probably need the same.  I've got to study for my 291 exam too so I'll probably be busy with that as I hear it's a real handful.

I've got an internship working for a research group an area university--  implementing a system we use on the Nintendo DS (because it's a neat platform and it's portable) and it's turning out that the Nintendo DS might perform better than the full-scale system running on modern desktop machines

Sorry to be so vague; not sure how specific I can be about what I'm working on.

I applied for Microsoft...  never heard anything back from them, though (I think I had a typo in my resume that I didn't detect until after I submitted it to MS...  hit \ instead of backspace when I made a last-minute correction, .Net to .NET I think).

Wow. Nintendo DS! Awesome. Can you tell us more later on? I would really love to know what you guys are doing with that nice device... I love the DS!
