Hey, I was wondering if Microsoft would ever consider offering Operating Systems like Windows ME(Just for laughs), Microsoft Bob (Hay, one can dream) , Windows 98, 95, NT Workstation or Server 2000 on DreamSpark? I know this is stuff usually reserved for MSDN and TechNet subscribers, but I think student developers could use these as test platforms for any of their tools.

Your idea certainly bears merit. We may see something along those lines as DreamSpark matures.

I have a disk sat on my desk the Bob on somewhere...
They won’t even support XP soon enough, why would they bother with 9x?

Is Windows 9x still available over MSDN?
I know that you can still get 9x through the MSDNAA, but I'm not sure about through a general MSDN subscription...

Weird, who would need that? People wanting to see a blue screen when reading from CD and ejecting it?

Ahh, great moments in Microsoft history! Smiley
Nothing like a little BSOD during a mass demonstration of a "great new OS!"
